He has been the Chairman of Sfinks Polska since August 2011. He runs the company for the second time. Previously, he held the position of the President in Sfinks from June 2009 to April 2010, and then he moved to the Supervisory Board of the company. Before he engaged himself as a manager and investor in Sfinks Polska, for many years he co-created and ran from a position of the President Dominet capital group, within which all-Poland Dominet Bank was developed through the franchise model,. Dominet SA together with Dominet Bank were successfully sold to the international group Fortis in 2007. During his career Sylwester Cacek was a member of the Supervisory Boards of such companies as: Dominet Bank SA, Impel SA, OrsNet Sp. z o.o., SportLive24 SA and KS Widzew Łódź SA. He is also a co-owner of the Polish professional football club RTS Widzew Łódź SA and an active capital investor - apart from Sfinks he has a significant share in Canadian biotechnological company Helix BioPharma. Sylwester Cacek graduated from the International Management School. He also studied in the Warsaw University of Technology, Department of Mechanical and Technological and in Military University of Technology in Warsaw.
